Whether you wear them year-round or bring them out only on the 4th of July, Flag Day or any other federal holiday, you'll be sure to do it in style with these handsome all-elastic red, white and blue suspenders. Choose from your choice of four fun patterns: Stars & Stripes, Old Glory (waving flags), Liberty (similar to Old Glory but with images of the Statue of Liberty) and Red, White and Blue Stripes. All patterns are available in 42", 48" and 54" lengths. Liberty and Stars & Stripes suspenders are available in either the 2" wide style with heavy construction clips, or the slimmer 1.5" wide design with dressier style clips. Old Glory is also available in matching 1" wide kids' size, so you and your mini-me can show your pride in matching patriotic suspenders.

Suspender sizes indicate the length of the suspender straps in inches from the end of the attachment point in the front past the cross patch on the back to the tip of the attachment point on the back.

How to Measure

The most accurate way to determine the correct suspender size is to use a tape measure on the person who will be wearing the suspenders as shown in the image below:

Once you have this measurement, round up to the next size suspender, since the suspender size indicates the length of the straps fully extended and the suspenders can be shortened, not lengthened.

Note: If the measurement is very close to a suspender size and you prefer the adjusters to fall high on the torso, order the next size up. For example, if you measure 41 inches, the adjusters on a 42-inch suspender will fall about 1 inch above the waistband of the pants or skirt, whereas those of a 48-inch suspender will fall about 7 inches above the waistband. This is simply a matter of personal preference.
