ONCE IN A BLUE MOON - Every so often the perfect accessory set comes along. In this case, it's our classy Copenhagen Blue & Navy striped suspender and Bow Tie/Necktie sets. These elegant blue suspenders are perfect with your navy blue or tan attire, with a beautiful lighter blue offset by smaller navy & white diagonal stripes. Select from either a bow tie or necktie & matching diagonally striped suspenders. Our own Oxford Kent line of suspenders are designed at 1 3/8-inch wide of non-stretch microfiber twill for a crisp all-day look. The suspenders have a Y-back with a tan leather crosspatch & lower elastic for a bit stretch and plenty of comfort. Convertible polished nickel drop clips & tan leather button attachments can be easily swapped to fit your daily attire.

The matching pre-tied twill bow tie is sized at a standard 4.75-inches wide x 2.5-inches tall, with an adjustable strap that is 22-inches long. A dark metal clip is concealed discreetly under the bow tie. Similarly, the necktie is a standard adult size at 3.5 inch wide & 58 inches long.

How to Measure

The most accurate way to determine the correct suspender size is to use a tape measure on the person who will be wearing the suspenders as shown in the image below:

Once you have this measurement, round up to the next size suspender, since the suspender size indicates the length of the straps fully extended and the suspenders can be shortened, not lengthened.

Note: If the measurement is very close to a suspender size and you prefer the adjusters to fall high on the torso, order the next size up. For example, if you measure 41 inches, the adjusters on a 42-inch suspender will fall about 1 inch above the waistband of the pants or skirt, whereas those of a 48-inch suspender will fall about 7 inches above the waistband. This is simply a matter of personal preference.
