Both sets are crafted of high-quality microfiber red twill, a fabric that looks good with shirts made of light or heavier materials. Each style of our men's bow tie and suspender set comes with 1 3/8-inch suspenders decorated with a bevy of cheerful green Christmas trees, each topped with a small yellow star. They also have a classic Y-back with a black leather crosspatch for a dressy look. Elastic is added to give these suspenders a bit more stretch and comfort. Convertible polished nickel drop clips and black leather button attachments are easily swapped to fit each pair of pants in your wardrobe.

The matching pre-tied twill bow tie is sized at a standard 4.75 inches wide by 2.5 inches tall, with an adjustable strap that is 22 inches long. The most accurate way to determine the correct suspender size is to use a tape measure on the person who will be wearing the suspenders as shown in the image below:

Once you have this measurement, round up to the next size suspender, since the suspender size indicates the length of the straps fully extended and the suspenders can be shortened, not lengthened.

Note: If the measurement is very close to a suspender size and you prefer the adjusters to fall high on the torso, order the next size up. For example, if you measure 41 inches, the adjusters on a 42-inch suspender will fall about 1 inch above the waistband of the pants or skirt, whereas those of a 48-inch suspender will fall about 7 inches above the waistband. This is simply a matter of personal preference.
