SIDE PIN CLIP ATTACHMENTS! Looking for a great hold and minimal effort? Our side pin clip suspenders are just the ticket. Suspender Store's pin clips are designed with heavy-duty nickel pins that go straight through the fabric of your pants, and are further reinforced with plastic teeth that hold both sides of the fabric taut. Made of 1.5-inch wide tan elastic, these side clip suspenders are finished with a brown leather crosspatch. Simply slip your side clip suspenders on over your arms as if you were putting on a coat--one clip on each side and none in the back. Suspender sizes indicate the length of the suspender straps in inches from the end of the attachment point in the front past the cross patch on the back to the tip of the attachment point on the back.

How to Measure

The most accurate way to determine the correct suspender size is to use a tape measure on the person who will be wearing the suspenders as shown in the image below:

How to measure for suspender size

Once you have this measurement, round up to the next size suspender, since the suspender size indicates the length of the straps fully extended and the suspenders can be shortened, not lengthened.

Note: If the measurement is very close to a suspender size and you prefer the adjusters to fall high on the torso, order the next size up. For example, if you measure 41 inches, the adjusters on a 42-inch suspender will fall about 1 inch above the waistband of the pants or skirt, whereas those of a 48-inch suspender will fall about 7 inches above the waistband. This is simply a matter of personal preference.
