HANDSOME STRIPED BRACES IN CLASSIC STRIPE PATTERN! A traditional button-on suspender in a non-stretchy, grosgrain ribbon, these Y-back braces have lower elastic for a flexible fit. At 1 3/8" wide, these suspenders have leather button attachments and polished nickel or polished brass size adjusters.

Available in 46" & 54" lengths (Tan/Navy suspenders are available only in a 46-inch), choose from a selection of elegant colors. Sky/Navy, Burgundy/Navy & Navy/Gold have brass hardware; remaining colors have polished nickel hardware. Sky/Navy & Navy/Hunter have black leather button attachments; Burgundy/Navy & Red/White/Blue have dark brown leather button attachments, and Navy/Gold, Khaki/Navy, & Tan/Navy suspenders have tan button attachments. Suspender sizes indicate the length of the suspender straps in inches from the end of the attachment point in the front past the cross patch on the back to the tip of the attachment point on the back.

How to Measure

The most accurate way to determine the correct suspender size is to use a tape measure on the person who will be wearing the suspenders as shown in the image below:

Once you have this measurement, round up to the next size suspender, since the suspender size indicates the length of the straps fully extended and the suspenders can be shortened, not lengthened.

Note: If the measurement is very close to a suspender size and you prefer the adjusters to fall high on the torso, order the next size up. For example, if you measure 41 inches, the adjusters on a 42-inch suspender will fall about 1 inch above the waistband of the pants or skirt, whereas those of a 48-inch suspender will fall about 7 inches above the waistband. This is simply a matter of personal preference.
