AMERICAN-MADE, ALL LEATHER POLICE & MOTORCYCLE SUSPENDERS - Indulge in the fresh air & freedom of the open road with these all-leather police & motorcycle suspenders. Made of a high-quality black leather, the 1 1/8-inch wide straps have been appointed with stylish nickel hardware & five evenly spaced eyelets--perfect for holding your badges and conchos. Finished with a Y-back, with lower elastic for a small amount of give. These leather suspenders are available with two different suspender ends, including trigger snaps or alligator clips, so you can choose which look matches your personal disposition. SIZE GUIDE FOR SONNY BOY LEATHER SUSPENDERS

The size of our Sonny Boy Leather Motorcycle suspender can be adjusted on the front by setting the buckle strap and on the back by adjusting the length of the elastic section. In total, these adjustments can result in a 6-inch range in the length of the suspenders.

To determine which size to order, take a tape measure and measure from the center of the back where the suspenders will attach to the pants, diagonally up over one shoulder, and then straight down the side of the chest to where the suspenders will attach to the pants on that front side. This is your suspender measurement in inches. Look up this measurement in the chart below to see which size to order.

There is some overlap in the potential lengths of each size. If in doubt, remember that leather may stretch slightly as it ages and order the size that will provide you with the ability to shorten the suspender in the future, while also providing you adequate room for adjustment when you first start wearing them. If, for instance, your suspender measurement is 41 inches, you should order a Small rather than a Medium suspender.

The most accurate way to determine the correct suspender size is to use a tape measure on the person who will be wearing the suspenders as shown in the image below:

Once you have this measurement, round up to the next size suspender, since the suspender size indicates the length of the straps fully extended and the suspenders can be shortened, not lengthened.

Note: If the measurement is very close to a suspender size and you prefer the adjusters to fall high on the torso, order the next size up. For example, if you measure 41 inches, the adjusters on a 42-inch suspender will fall about 1 inch above the waistband of the pants or skirt, whereas those of a 48-inch suspender will fall about 7 inches above the waistband. This is simply a matter of personal preference.
