TINY POLKA DOT APPEAL -Tiny polka dots on a solid background adorn these pure silk braces making a tasteful & classic statement while adding just a touch of pizazz! These 1 3/8-inch wide suspenders are designed with a Y-back with lower elastic to maximize comfort and fit. Both the Yellow Suspenders with Blue Dots & Navy Suspenders with Turquoise Dots have deep brown leather button attachments & crosspatch, while the Sky Blue Suspenders with White Dots & Silver Suspenders with Black Dots have black leather trim. All colors have polished nickel hardware.

Suspender sizes indicate the length of the suspender straps in inches from the end of the attachment point in the front past the cross patch on the back to the tip of the attachment point on the back.

How to Measure

The most accurate way to determine the correct suspender size is to use a tape measure on the person who will be wearing the suspenders as shown in the image below:

Once you have this measurement, round up to the next size suspender, since the suspender size indicates the length of the straps fully extended and the suspenders can be shortened, not lengthened.

Note: If the measurement is very close to a suspender size and you prefer the adjusters to fall high on the torso, order the next size up. For example, if you measure 41 inches, the adjusters on a 42-inch suspender will fall about 1 inch above the waistband of the pants or skirt, whereas those of a 48-inch suspender will fall about 7 inches above the waistband. This is simply a matter of personal preference.
