PERRY BELT-CLIP SUSPENDERS WITH CLIP ON THE SIDE! These 2-inch wide elastic suspenders feature a great plastic clip that attaches to a belt up to 1.5-inches wide. This unique attachment lets you wear both a belt & suspenders at the same time. Our regular Perry Belt-Clip suspenders have three attachments - two in the front & one in the back - like traditional suspenders. These Perry uBEE Suspenders (previously called Outback suspenders) have only two belt clips -- one on each side with none on the back or front. The straps of these side-clip suspenders go from your hips up your torso & over your shoulders, just like any other pair of suspenders. In the center of your back, the straps cross in an X-shape & wrap back around to your hips to form a loop.

The side clip on these Perry suspenders makes them a great choice for folks who sit a lot, such as truck drivers. They're also great for people who simply find clip suspenders with attachments on the back to be uncomfortable. Suspenders with plastic belt clips are ideal for men who find that their metal suspender clips are damaging the waistband of their pants. By attaching directly to your belt, a pair of belt-clip suspenders can help you avoid any unnecessary damage to your clothing. Belt widths up to 1.5-inches will work with these suspenders.

Suspender sizes indicate the length of the suspender straps in inches from the end of the attachment point in the front past the cross patch on the back to the tip of the attachment point on the back.

How to Measure

The most accurate way to determine the correct suspender size is to use a tape measure on the person who will be wearing the suspenders as shown in the image below:

How to measure for suspender size

Once you have this measurement, round up to the next size suspender, since the suspender size indicates the length of the straps fully extended and the suspenders can be shortened, not lengthened.

Note: If the measurement is very close to a suspender size and you prefer the adjusters to fall high on the torso, order the next size up. For example, if you measure 41 inches, the adjusters on a 42-inch suspender will fall about 1 inch above the waistband of the pants or skirt, whereas those of a 48-inch suspender will fall about 7 inches above the waistband. This is simply a matter of personal preference.
