CLASSIC STRIPED SUSPENDERS - From our very own Oxford Kent line, you'll love our classic striped suspenders. Designed of 1 3/8 inch high-quality microfiber twill, these non-stretch suspenders are made with convertible polished nickel clips & button attachments to fit every pair of trousers. The Y-back is accented with a genuine leather crosspatch and lower elastic for a modest amount of give, and polished nickel size adjusters allow for fine-tuning to a perfect fit. The Corn/Navy & Navy/Lime suspenders are trimmed in tan leather; the Navy/White & Red/Navy suspenders have brown leather, and the Pink/Navy suspenders have black leather. Available in a 48-inch length. Matching neckties and bow ties are also available!

Suspender sizes indicate the length of the suspender straps in inches from the end of the attachment point in the front past the cross patch on the back to the tip of the attachment point on the back.

How to Measure

The most accurate way to determine the correct suspender size is to use a tape measure on the person who will be wearing the suspenders as shown in the image below:

Once you have this measurement, round up to the next size suspender, since the suspender size indicates the length of the straps fully extended and the suspenders can be shortened, not lengthened.

Note: If the measurement is very close to a suspender size and you prefer the adjusters to fall high on the torso, order the next size up. For example, if you measure 41 inches, the adjusters on a 42-inch suspender will fall about 1 inch above the waistband of the pants or skirt, whereas those of a 48-inch suspender will fall about 7 inches above the waistband. This is simply a matter of personal preference.
