This impeccable line of luxury braces is designed and crafted in England by Albert Thurston, the world's premier maker of fine braces. These limited edition suspenders are woven of fine silk and backed with Melton wool. Each pair comes with a numbered limited edition tag, and each design has a run of only 500 available worldwide.

All designs are 1 5/8-inch wide non-stretch silk, and have a Y-back with leather crosspatch and lower elastic for a modest amount of stretch. The hardware is solid polished brass or a nickel-finish solid brass, specific to the braces as noted below. Runner end attachments are trimmed with leather & six buttons are included to complete the set. Supplied in a high quality gift box.

CHANDELIER, MINIS, MOZART, NY SKYLINE, RUBY COCKTAIL, SILVER JOKER, & WINE BOTTLES all have black leather with black braided runner end & polished nickel hardware.

CHARLESTON & FLIES both have black leather with black braided runner end and polished brass hardware.

NIBS & POCKET WATCH both have black leather with cream braided runner end and polished brass hardware.

TALL DUCK & HANDSOME has deep navy blue leather with cream braided runner end & polished brass hardware.

Suspender sizes indicate the length of the suspender straps in inches from the end of the attachment point in the front past the cross patch on the back to the tip of the attachment point on the back.

How to Measure

The most accurate way to determine the correct suspender size is to use a tape measure on the person who will be wearing the suspenders as shown in the image below:

Once you have this measurement, round up to the next size suspender, since the suspender size indicates the length of the straps fully extended and the suspenders can be shortened, not lengthened.

Note: If the measurement is very close to a suspender size and you prefer the adjusters to fall high on the torso, order the next size up. For example, if you measure 41 inches, the adjusters on a 42-inch suspender will fall about 1 inch above the waistband of the pants or skirt, whereas those of a 48-inch suspender will fall about 7 inches above the waistband. This is simply a matter of personal preference.
