TAN WORK SUSPENDERS WITH STURDY PIN CLIPS! Made to be tough, our work suspenders are made from 2-inch wide non-stretch straps and have an X-back with brown leather crosspatch. Below the crosspatch is heavy elastic for just a hint of give. Attachments include our incredible nickel pin clips, which are designed with two metal pins that go right through the fabric of your pants and are then reinforced with plastic teeth to keep the fabric taut. Suspender sizes indicate the length of the suspender straps in inches from the end of the attachment point in the front past the cross patch on the back to the tip of the attachment point on the back.

How to Measure

The most accurate way to determine the correct suspender size is to use a tape measure on the person who will be wearing the suspenders as shown in the image below:

How to measure for suspender size

Once you have this measurement, round up to the next size suspender, since the suspender size indicates the length of the straps fully extended and the suspenders can be shortened, not lengthened.

Note: If the measurement is very close to a suspender size and you prefer the adjusters to fall high on the torso, order the next size up. For example, if you measure 41 inches, the adjusters on a 42-inch suspender will fall about 1 inch above the waistband of the pants or skirt, whereas those of a 48-inch suspender will fall about 7 inches above the waistband. This is simply a matter of personal preference.
