HEAVY DUTY WORK SUSPENDERS WITH CLIPS THAT WON'T LET YOU DOWN! Perfect for wearing with durable work pants or a tool belt, these heavy-duty suspenders are rugged and tough. Featuring 2-inch wide non-stretch straps, these suspenders have an X-back with black leather crosspatch (tan suspenders have a brown leather crosspatch) with a bit of low stretch elastic beneath the X for modest flexibility. Our nickel pin clips set these aside from all others--two metal pins that pierce the fabric of your pants, reinforced by tough plastic teeth to keep the fabric taut. Available in 42-inch, 48-inch, 54-inch and 60-inch lengths--a size for everyone!

Suspender sizes indicate the length of the suspender straps in inches from the end of the attachment point in the front past the cross patch on the back to the tip of the attachment point on the back.

How to Measure

The most accurate way to determine the correct suspender size is to use a tape measure on the person who will be wearing the suspenders as shown in the image below:

Once you have this measurement, round up to the next size suspender, since the suspender size indicates the length of the straps fully extended and the suspenders can be shortened, not lengthened.

Note: If the measurement is very close to a suspender size and you prefer the adjusters to fall high on the torso, order the next size up. For example, if you measure 41 inches, the adjusters on a 42-inch suspender will fall about 1 inch above the waistband of the pants or skirt, whereas those of a 48-inch suspender will fall about 7 inches above the waistband. This is simply a matter of personal preference.
