CARE TO DANCE?  Steal the lead wearing these limited edition handwoven silk suspenders designed & made in England by Albert Thurston. Set on a black silk background, these 1 5/8-inch wide suspenders feature silver & red swirling couples promenading beneath a tiered crystal chandelier. These non-stretch Y-back braces have a leather crosspatch with lower elastic for a comfortable fit, and nickel toned brass slide adjusters allow for fine-tuning the length. Available in a 46-inch length, these braces have black runner ends & buttons, and are one of just 500 pairs offered worldwide. A hand-numbered limited edition tag is included, and the braces come in a quality box for safe storage.

Suspender sizes indicate the length of the suspender straps in inches from the end of the attachment point in the front past the cross patch on the back to the tip of the attachment point on the back.

How to Measure

The most accurate way to determine the correct suspender size is to use a tape measure on the person who will be wearing the suspenders as shown in the image below:

Once you have this measurement, round up to the next size suspender, since the suspender size indicates the length of the straps fully extended and the suspenders can be shortened, not lengthened.

Note: If the measurement is very close to a suspender size and you prefer the adjusters to fall high on the torso, order the next size up. For example, if you measure 41 inches, the adjusters on a 42-inch suspender will fall about 1 inch above the waistband of the pants or skirt, whereas those of a 48-inch suspender will fall about 7 inches above the waistband. This is simply a matter of personal preference.
