TANTALIZING TEAL - Our teal suspenders and bow tie set will set the right mood for your day at the office or for an important event. Made of 1-inch wide elastic, these Y-back clip suspenders feature a leather crosspatch and nickel finger clips. We offer them in four sizes for the perfect fit. Our 36-inch length will fit most kids 5 years old to 5 feet tall and is paired with a kids' satiny bow tie measuring 1 1/2-inches tall and will fit necks from 7-inches to 15 1/2-inches around. The adult sized suspenders - 42, 48 and 54 inch - fit a range of adults from 5' - 6'5 and are paired with a matching satiny adult bow tie that is 2 1/2 inches tall from tip to tip and will fit necks up to 19 1/2 inches.

The most accurate way to determine the correct suspender size is to use a tape measure on the person who will be wearing the suspenders as shown in the image below:

Once you have this measurement, round up to the next size suspender, since the suspender size indicates the length of the straps fully extended and the suspenders can be shortened, not lengthened.

Note: If the measurement is very close to a suspender size and you prefer the adjusters to fall high on the torso, order the next size up. For example, if you measure 41 inches, the adjusters on a 42-inch suspender will fall about 1 inch above the waistband of the pants or skirt, whereas those of a 48-inch suspender will fall about 7 inches above the waistband. This is simply a matter of personal preference.
