ROYAL STEWART BOW TIE & SUSPENDER SET -Rub elbows with royalty wearing our gorgeous tartan plaid bow tie & suspenders set! The ever classic Royal Stewart plaid is perhaps the most recognizable in the world. The deep red color is offset by a hint of vivid sky blue, white, hunter green and even a touch of yellow for an amazing beautiful effect. Our all cotton braces are designed at a dressy width of 1 3/8-inch wide and are trimmed with deep brown genuine leather button attachments. The Y-back is designed with a match leather crosspatch and lower elastic for a modicum of stretch & lots of comfort. Polished nickel size adjusters allow for sizing to a perfect fit.

The matching Royal Stewart bow tie is pre-tied for ease, with a clip concealed discreetly under the bow tie. Designed with an adjustable strap that can be sized up to 22-inches long, the bow tie itself is a sized at a standard 4.75" wide by 2.5" tall. The combination of the bow tie and suspender set provides the perfect look for the stylish dresser!

The most accurate way to determine the correct suspender size is to use a tape measure on the person who will be wearing the suspenders as shown in the image below:

Once you have this measurement, round up to the next size suspender, since the suspender size indicates the length of the straps fully extended and the suspenders can be shortened, not lengthened.

Note: If the measurement is very close to a suspender size and you prefer the adjusters to fall high on the torso, order the next size up. For example, if you measure 41 inches, the adjusters on a 42-inch suspender will fall about 1 inch above the waistband of the pants or skirt, whereas those of a 48-inch suspender will fall about 7 inches above the waistband. This is simply a matter of personal preference.
