The bat-signal is clear - it's time to come out of your batcave and save Gotham City - or at least get into the Caped Crusader spirit by donning a pair of these fantastic Batman Suspenders! Featuring the classic yellow searchlight bat image on a black background, these 1-inch wide suspenders have X-back construction, nickel finger clips and an adjustable metal crosspatch on the back. We carry these suspenders in 2 sizes to fit most kids of any age. The 40-inch length will fit kids 6 years old and older and adults of average build up to 5'5" tall while the 50-inch length will fit adults 5'5 - 6'2. Questions? PLEASE NOTE - Though these suspenders are Made in the USA, they are not the same quality as most of our other suspenders. The elastic is not as strong and the clips are not as sturdy. But they are very fun patterns and they are not available anywhere else. The licensing costs for the characters causes them to cost the same as our other suspenders. They are great for parties or fun occasions but we do not recommend them for daily wear.

Suspender sizes indicate the length of the suspender straps in inches from the end of the attachment point in the front past the cross patch on the back to the tip of the attachment point on the back.

How to Measure

The most accurate way to determine the correct suspender size is to use a tape measure on the person who will be wearing the suspenders as shown in the image below:

Once you have this measurement, round up to the next size suspender, since the suspender size indicates the length of the straps fully extended and the suspenders can be shortened, not lengthened.

Note: If the measurement is very close to a suspender size and you prefer the adjusters to fall high on the torso, order the next size up. For example, if you measure 41 inches, the adjusters on a 42-inch suspender will fall about 1 inch above the waistband of the pants or skirt, whereas those of a 48-inch suspender will fall about 7 inches above the waistband. This is simply a matter of personal preference.
