A push of the thumb is all it takes to attach a trigger snap to your belt loop, where it will stay until you take them off. Perfect for heavier work pants, count on these 2-inch wide elastic suspenders for holding jeans & canvas pants in place. Designed with a Y-back, these sport a genuine leather crosspatch & nickel size adjusters for a perfect fit. All pants have a black leather crosspatch on the Y-back, except for the Brown & Tan suspenders which have brown leather crosspatches, and the White suspenders which have a white leather crosspatch. All colors offered in 42-inch, 48-inch & 54-inch. The Black, Navy & Tan suspenders are also offered in a 60-inch size. You'll want a pair in every color!

Please note: Most folks prefer these Y-back trigger snap suspenders because pants usually have a center belt loop in the back where the suspenders attach. However, if you have a pair of pants with two belt loops on either side of the center, then you might prefer our 1.5-Inch X-back Trigger Snaps.

Suspender sizes indicate the length of the suspender straps in inches from the end of the attachment point in the front past the cross patch on the back to the tip of the attachment point on the back.

How to Measure

The most accurate way to determine the correct suspender size is to use a tape measure on the person who will be wearing the suspenders as shown in the image below:

Once you have this measurement, round up to the next size suspender, since the suspender size indicates the length of the straps fully extended and the suspenders can be shortened, not lengthened.

Note: If the measurement is very close to a suspender size and you prefer the adjusters to fall high on the torso, order the next size up. For example, if you measure 41 inches, the adjusters on a 42-inch suspender will fall about 1 inch above the waistband of the pants or skirt, whereas those of a 48-inch suspender will fall about 7 inches above the waistband. This is simply a matter of personal preference.
