Get a sleek and timeless look with our light grey Y-back clip suspenders. Combining the traditional look of Y-back construction with the easy-to-wear nature of clip-on suspenders these 1-inch wide all elastic suspenders are just the ticket for any occasion from casual to dressy and anything in between! Essentially the same suspender as our 1-inch Wide Grey X-Back suspenders except that the backs have a single strap (instead of 2 straps) and the cross-patch is leather (rather than sewn). We've added these suspenders because some people simply prefer the look of a Y-back to the look of an X-back. Available in 4 sizes to fit anyone 5 years old to 6'5 inches tall. We also carry this suspender in 6 additional colors.

Suspender sizes indicate the length of the suspender straps in inches from the end of the attachment point in the front past the cross patch on the back to the tip of the attachment point on the back.

How to Measure

The most accurate way to determine the correct suspender size is to use a tape measure on the person who will be wearing the suspenders as shown in the image below:

How to measure for suspender size

Once you have this measurement, round up to the next size suspender, since the suspender size indicates the length of the straps fully extended and the suspenders can be shortened, not lengthened.

Note: If the measurement is very close to a suspender size and you prefer the adjusters to fall high on the torso, order the next size up. For example, if you measure 41 inches, the adjusters on a 42-inch suspender will fall about 1 inch above the waistband of the pants or skirt, whereas those of a 48-inch suspender will fall about 7 inches above the waistband. This is simply a matter of personal preference.
