BROWN X-BACK TRIGGER SNAP SUSPENDERS - Our 1.5-inch wide brown trigger snap suspenders are now offered with an X-back for an extra secure hold. Made with a total of four (4) trigger snaps to hold your pants in place, these clip quickly & securely to your belt loops--2 in the front & 2 in the back. The X-back has a dark brown leather crosspatch & the suspenders are finished with nickel size adjusters for setting to a perfect length. Available in 42-inch, 48-inch, 54-inch & 60-inch lengths to fit even our big & tall customers. We also offer these in a Y-Back version!

PLEASE NOTE: These suspenders are X-BACK, meaning there will be 2 FRONT and 2 REAR trigger snap attachments. Most people prefer the Y-BACK version of Trigger Snap Suspenders because of the location of rear belt loops, particularly common on jeans & canvas work pants. If you have a center belt loop in the rear you will want to consider Y-BACK suspenders in lieu of these X-BACKs. If you have two belt loops in the rear on either side of center, the X-BACKs will probably work for you.

Suspender sizes indicate the length of the suspender straps in inches from the end of the attachment point in the front past the cross patch on the back to the tip of the attachment point on the back.

How to Measure

The most accurate way to determine the correct suspender size is to use a tape measure on the person who will be wearing the suspenders as shown in the image below:

Once you have this measurement, round up to the next size suspender, since the suspender size indicates the length of the straps fully extended and the suspenders can be shortened, not lengthened.

Note: If the measurement is very close to a suspender size and you prefer the adjusters to fall high on the torso, order the next size up. For example, if you measure 41 inches, the adjusters on a 42-inch suspender will fall about 1 inch above the waistband of the pants or skirt, whereas those of a 48-inch suspender will fall about 7 inches above the waistband. This is simply a matter of personal preference.
